CAR HIRE SAN JAVIER AIRPORT

I have had a 'best' hire price from a  company called 121 aledgedly at San Javier has anyone heard of them please?

Car Hire is shockingly high at the moment!

In a word no not heard of them in the airport. I have seen Sol Mar ,Gold Car, Centro, A  C Crown, Avis Hertz ,,,,Could it be that 121 are booking agents only and cotract the hire out. A word of warning a chap at work paid money to a bogus site and lost £300 If its the first time you use an agent go for booking car but paying direct in resort    :-)

       I've just use 'Do You Spain' for the first time and as usual I ended up at  GoldCar's desk to pick up my car but they were cheaper than GoldCar's quote for the same car!! so it's worth checking the various sites.

Never pay any money up front. Usually you pay when picking the car up.

hi, we have used   VICTORIA  which has a van on the carpark, bit dubious at first at doing this, but it was fine and no problems.

121 Is an agency who use different well known companies.I have just booked with them and got a very good rate,the company they have got me the rate through is gold car.The car is booked, I have been given a voucher and booking reference to which i will present at the desk on my arrival in Murcia airport. No cash has been paid up front. i would suggest you look at all sights,to get the very best deal I normaly use doyouspain,but these came out cheaper this time.What you have got to watch out for, is that some operators are based outside the airport,which is not a problem but sometimes a little inconvenient.Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info we have gone with ATESA ?? they were a lot cheaper than the airport cars and are based in Santiago which we didn't find out until we booked!! No money was paid up front so we will see how it goes.

Will you have to make your way to Santiago to collect the car or will Ateasa bring it to the airport? Either way do let us know how your hire goes and enjoy your visit.

Apparently they will collect us at the airport foyer and take us to the car in santiago! Nearly €100 cheaper than Centauro by the way!

We've just rented from Atesa in San Javier, and what I like about them is that they don't force you to buy a tank full of petrol. You just pick the car up full and return it full. I'll be going back to them!

Thats good to hear that as we have not heard of this company before, where did you pick the car up?

I think it must be, but not 100% sure. We just went for the cheapest option via Holiday Autos. Atesa are also agents for Alamo and National, as I remember.
