Feb 2008 Half Term

Hi everyone

We have today received an e mail from a MASA rep regarding the upgrade of furniture on SG .

She says that the pine pack can be upgraded to a dark wood effect pack (same content) for........wait for it......3,000 euros!!!!!

No thanks is our answer!

She did not mention the cane furniture pack.

The "pilot house" contains this furniture. (pic on photo list 8th Jan, photo no 2)

What do you think folks?

We liked the look of the original light coloured pine which had oval d.room table much better than the dark pine which appears to have an ugly oblong table , so no way Hosay , or should I say Manual , would we go for an upgrade.

We were told the furniture pack consists of :

1 x sofa, 1 x chair, 1 x dining table, 4 x dining chairs 1 x dresser unit (welsh dresser type of thing)

1 x double bed, 2 x single beds, 4 x bedside cabinets

1 x fridge freezer, 1 x washing machine, 1 x oven and hob.

If anyone knows any different please let us know

our pack is from Torreamor Galleries and was signed for 6th May 2005 - sorry - should read 2004!!! -   it's very similar to Spike and Stells's but there's no mention of white goods in the kitchen.  the agent said they were 'probably' included.  Does anyone have details or confirmation of this?

the pack is supposed to contain :

lantern for the terrace

living room:  ceiling light, bookcase or sideboard (depending pine or cane), dining table,  4 dining chairs, coffee table, sofa(sofabed), chair, 2 curtains

master bedroom: 1 double bed base, mattress, headboard, pillow, 2 bedside tables, 2 bedside lights, 1 curtain, 1 duvet,  ceiling  light

second bedroom: 2 single bed bases. 2 mattresses, 2 headboards, 2 pillows, 1 bedside table, 1 bedside light, 1 lace curtain, 2 duvets, ceiling light

1 x 50litre  water heater

I agree with the actual furniture included, as I understand. However I had to buy all my white goods separately from MASA in Torre, these would then be fitted into the kitchen at the time it was done. But I bought and paid for them in 2005 so who knows what I'll find when I get there.

Hi All,

Our pack is exactly the same as Jane's - our Agent , Propertunities , advised that no white goods were to be included and when we last went out there in May06 , we were taken by the Agent to view white goods in a shop in San Javier.
