Hi all,
just tried to get Polaris TV and broadband installed and have been told "I have to inform you that at the moment it is no possible to install any service in Fase 2 Terrazas de la Torre as there is not electricity on the communal areas where the telecommunication equipments are, so we are not sure we will be able to install the services by the date your requested."

I'm in block 285. Has anyone in phase 2 had any luck?

Hi Dave

We have booked and paid for just the Polaris tv package only to be installed on the 7th Sept no mention to us about no electrics unless its just the broadband they can't fit  we are in block 291

Hi

Have just had a reply of Polaris Telecome regarding the fitting of there Tv package on our phase 2/12( Paid for in September)  they say the tv signal will be ready this week and so from next week can organise appointments for fitting on either Tuesdays or Thursdays ( likely to be the new year now) don't know about broadband as we have not  paid for that .So things are getting done just need the lifts working now

This is the answer to four issues. The TV (need electrical supply for amplifiers), the lifts(motor), the pools(for the pump) and the communal lighting. All these issues have related to the lack of electrical supply to the main communal distribution boards which has been PWs responsibility to agree a contract with one of the electrical suppliers. Hopefully by Christmas these will all be in place.

What english channels do we get with the polaris tv package? Is it basically a free view box?

What happens if we want a full range of sky channels?

Hi

Have tried to call Polaris Telecom using the number on their website +34 902 500 424 but the line has been dead for a couple of days.  Also conpleted the 'contact sheet' on the website but no one has responded.

Are they still trading and if so does anyone have any alternative phone numbers, contact names and e-mail addresses?

I contacted them through  e-mail which is  info.telecom@polarisworld.com      they replied pretty quick  the contact details on there
