Alternative to Polaris World TV deal

Is there an alternative to paying Polaris World 180 Euros to set your TV up to receive British TV channels?

Probably a few.

Had tried to get one installed last week from someone posting on the Condado forum

Promised to install on agreed date for 145 euros. despite numerous phone calls, emails text etc Never turned up.

Even has own website. they are based a Camposol.

If the presales like the after sales. I had a lucky escape

We are just home from 2 weeks in Spain (wonderful) and while we were there, decided to have to Polaris TV installed.  Although there is not much to the installation, I think it is worth paying the €180, as at least there is some comeback with Polaris Telecom if anything goes wrong. If you are set on having British channels, then as per post below, it may well be worth paying the extra 40 or so Euros.  I called Polaris Telecom on the Friday and had my box installed by the Tuesday lunch time.

You get all the BBC and ITV channels, BBC news 24, some kids programmes including disney channel, Channel 4, E4, and various others.

 A little late to the table - perhaps. 

The Polaris world - El Valle community has a free to air fibre optic direct satellite system installed  (by ourselves).

Currently due to dispute over network / duct / cable ownership caused by Polaris / A2Z telecommunications. Polaris Mar Menor 2 are now currently allowing discreet installation of satellite dishes, until a community solution is acheived (when the court case is resolved).
