Penthouse Completion

Hi  Has anyone completed on a penthouse on terrazas as we need help on certain matters before we go to the notary on July 13th.

We are due to complete this friday was supposed to be on the 18th but the habitation certificate did't come through in time so just keeping fingers crossed for this friday we have given our soliciter power of attoney to complete on our behalf glad we did did after what happened on the  18th. Our snagging was done on the 16th June just a few faults  that Polaris need to fix.

For all that are signing for there apartments on phase 2 we found out from our spanish solicitor that you have to open a bank account over in spain before you can have your utilitys, we are going over next week to do our snagging and open a bank account and collect our keys from our solicitor who we gave power of attorney to so all our signing has been done for us.

Try Owners Direct or Holiday Lettings you will find six apartments on Terrazas to rent, I found two on Holiday Lettings and four on Owners Direct. Car hire try Fastcarhire.co.uk or www.aurigacrown.com we have used both companies in the past, hope this will help you.

Hi Everyone
Completed this Friday on our penthouse apartment on Terrazas phase 12
spoke to my soliciter  (gave him power of attorney)said everything went smoothly at the notary and has recieved the keys from Polaris just can't wait to get over there now.Hasn't been to long a wait put down our deposit in Feb 2008.Have been over a few times staying on phase 1 and the resort/golf course seems to get better each visit have bought all our furniture in the UK so just need to organise transport to bring it over.Will be going to Terrazas on the 4th July for a couple of days to measure up the apartment and have a good look round.We used Neil Cockings from www.fotothis.com for the snagging he lives on El Valle so knows Polaris /snagging system inside/out he has given the snagging list to Polaris think they have 30 days to fix the fauts then we can start furnishing the apartment
Ah well now the fun begins .

Roughdiamond, Is the quote of 175 one that you got personally as we have been trying to get quotes for our purchase. We are going to the notary ourselves, we have sorted our mortgage and all the relevant paperwork for our appointment with the notary and all we need is a solicitor to accompany us on the day. So far we have had 2 quotes €495 plus vat & €500 plus vat. I may be wrong but i would think power of attorney involves a lot more work than just turning up at the notary with us and ensuring everything is ok and if this is so then how come we are being asked to pay nearly €600.

The question you asked what how much does power of atornery cost and the price is approx 175 euro that is what the solicitor charges to witness the signing of the PoA the other cost will be for setting up uttilities and everything else with regards to your property on your behalf.
