Costa Calida Golf Day
The next event will be on Wednesday 01st December
Hacienda del Alamo
 
All golfers of all standards are invited to join us for this individual Stableford event. This is NOT a members or Society day, so whether you have played on one of our previous events or not, please feel free to join us. The PGA Tour Qualifying School will have just ended two days earlier, so the course will be in fantastic condition.
 
Cost is just € 36 per person
Shared Buggies are available for € 10 per person
Places are limited to a maximum of 28, so reserve your place now !

Wednesday 01st December saw the latest Costa Calida Golf Day, the venue was the very impressive Hacienda del Alamo, which had just hosted the European Tour Q school, so was in excellent condition but with some severe pin positions. We got lucky with the weather as the two previous days were wet and wild, so everyone was pleased to keep dry and didn’t really mind the blustery wind that got up in the afternoon
 
The discounted green fees and buggies were all arranged by Costa Calida Golf Tours (www.ccgt.co.uk) and the nearest the pins and longest drive were kindly sponsored by Mick “the grip” Reeves – thanks again Mick !!
 
The results are as follows –
 
Winner                 John Gimson                      34 points (on countback)
Runner-up          Mark McCluskey              34 points
Third                      Malcolm Naylor                31 points
 
NP hole 5             Alex Rodriguez
NP hole 18          Mark McCluskey
LD hole 9              Jim O’Neill
 
The next outing will be on Friday 17th December at Roda Golf Course and the cost is € 40 including buggy. Anyone wishing to play please contact Andy Walsh on 650 718 172 or e mail andy@ccgt.co.uk
