Question: How many Estate agents, solicitors, developers. etc etc etc ...have been sentenced...........

Hi all, This is my first post and I just wanted to know if there is any lawyer who is prepared to take Huma on in court on behalf of all us poor buggers who have nothing left. My solicitors have done diddly squat to get my money back. We paid 66,ooo back in 2005. My husband died last year and huma had the cheek to offer me an apt in Alicante. I cannot print what my reply was. I want the money back so I can go back to England as, unfortunately I have another 10 years left to work now. Any advice will be gratefully received-

A lot will depend if you have a BG - with one a number of solicitors should be able to get your money back.  If you don't have one then you are struggling.  You can take HUMA to court - they generally don't even attend now - you will win your case but then you will not be able to get your money back as all of HUMAs assets appear to be mortgaged.  You could then try and get someone to sue the bank - at present there are a number of cases going through the courts and we are not certain as to what the outcome of them will be.

my solicitor has a embargo in our name on a huma villa that has no charge against it, it has taken 4 years and cost 5000e to get to his stage,  the property will be put up for auction in 3 months if Huma dont refund,    yesterday Huma telephoned me and said....sorry we have no been intouch for a time ( 4 years) but we have been looking at each buyes case and trying our best to sort it out......( their lawers have been told by court about the auction)  Huma then offered me 3 apartments costa/blanca/calida and said all deposits would be deducted from the selling price, thus giving me a full refund,  i told him i would have to think about it ( as i know Huma are liars) he said the offer had to be taken up quickly ( before the auction).

so all you people fighting for yourmoney back, dont give in,  Huma dont want to go bust,  they do have assets,the dont want a public enquiery too much shit to surface,  the companies are interlinked and they will refund if you can get them cornered.

Huma tried to sell me an apartment yesterday as well.........€126,000 . They said they would deduct the deposit I had paid €53,000 - I said I would have one if it could be sold to me for the deposit I had paid them and the 5 years lost income. He declined my good offer. I thought €53,000 for an apartment would be good value plus 6% for the interest which would have made €56,180.

Can i ask where the appartment was that you were offered ,was it a choice of two developments in the Villamora area?

Did it have a 95% mortgage available with fees and tax estimated to be 15,000euros by any chance?

Only he and that Company were the ones who acted as Agents and stated all permissionswere in order!!
