Most Non-residents get a non residents tax charge on their bank account this is possibly what yours is, I know they are taken around this time of year.

I would say that this is the charge that is taken every 2 years, usually by your bank, to issue the certificate of non residence that is required.

It is not to be confused with the non residents income tax that is paid annually.

Yes we have just had gasto certif non resident for each of us taken from our bank too. Costs for issue of non resident certificates. Happens every two years or so. 22euros each. Didn't realise there were so many little extras we weren't told about to pay. We all live and learn.
