when is the bar opening

 hi everyone,

does anyone know when the bar is opening ? i am coming over at the end of june with a few friends and hope theres somewhere to go at night

0930 Friday and Coppolas is open, ice being delivered, TV,s on wall and music being played. Use it or lose it as they say in rugby. Dont know what hours, but its open.

That is great news .. have friends staying in mine at the moment and have let them know .. I am sure the take up will be good.. however totally agree we must all make this a thriving bar and ensure we make it work..

Great news, just what we're needing on the resort. We will definitely use the facilites when we are back out in July. Looking forward to meeting you all in the square.

Only bottled beer so far but its a start.

Looks like Friday was a one day wonder, didnt open Saturday not open this morning. The guy in the bar on Friday didnt know anything or pretended not to, he didnt even know what time he was going to close up.!!

Just wondering....any progress with the bar. We're coming out on 22nd June & really hoping it'll be sorted by then. Bringing a couple of teenage girls....will anyone have young people there to meet up with??

 hi we are coming  over on the 24th of june there will be 3 adult  and 4 boys 2 aged 10 and 2  aged 14 .we are hoping the bar will be open at night for us to go somewhere.

friend just back today bar still not open but had pool to themselves and resort was very quiet

All excited , leaving early tomorrow morning. If no bar, will have to go DIY! At least it'll be good to get away from dismal Dublin weather

Hi All,

we're currently on site and have been since the 12th. No sign of Coppolas being open. As usual the resort and course are quiet although we have seen a few more faces than previously. Only work going on seems to be finishing off the grounds round the The Island properties. Hopefuly when they, and the few newer blocks, handover the resort will have a bit more life.

We got back last night after a great seven days on Terrazas  went over to the supermarket on the Wedensday afternoon  6th July  (new opening hours for July/August  9.30am to 2.30pm and 5.30pm to 8.30pm Mon -Fri ) when  we came out of the supermarket I noticed the front door to the bar was open popped my head round the door and there was about 6 men in suits talking at the bar  I shouted over are you open  to which one of them came over to me and said the bar and restraunt will be open in two weeks and followed shortly  by a pro shop for the golf course in one of the town centre units,  the man I spoke to was Spanish but before I could ask him who he worked for he went back to talk to this group of men So fingers crossed it might be opening soon.

 Also have just returned from 18 day holiday in block 276, shared for the first few days by Henry....no human contact for nearly 2 weeks afterwards until last saturday!  

Got used to the silence & really wonder how the pool will work out with lots of other people! 

Have been closely watching activity around the bar but gave into the reality that it was not going to open before our departure..........it would just have been nice to have somewhere to meet everyone else.

Outside electricity now working in block 276 but TV satelite still not ready! General area cleaned up (including pool areas)a bit more watering going on but pool improvements still waiting for word from Polaris. 

Golf course is in great nick, but as an early amateur, I can just think thesigner was a sadist with a weird sense of humour!

Probably won't  make it back before late this year...hopefully there will be a bar to meet up in!

Had been led to believe by Polaris that as soon as electricity to the block was switched on TV would be available if a PW digibox was purchased. Surprised to hear that this isn't the case, contacted PW telecom and got reply that I didnt understand and offer to give a refund for my Digibox,email included web page link to company called a2z telecoms who apparently supply tv to La Torre, Hacienda and Las Islas. Do other owners on phase 2 get tv from digibox courtesy of Polaris and is it just the new blocks that have been added to Phase 2 that have the problem

Just for information we are on Phase 1 at Terrazas de la Torre and we have just purchased  a International decoder system from Polarisworld telecom.  We paid 166.27 euro (including taxes and installation).  On this system we will be able to receive most English channels.  This is a one off payment.
