Community Charges

Hi All, When i received the minutes of the most recent community meeting at Corvera Golf there was a long list of properties who were behind with their community charges payments, can i just say to other owners out there that you chose to invest in this development and if you want your investment to succeed in the long term you have to keep up with both your Community (your block within Corvera Golf) and your Corvera Golf Entity (whole resort) Charges payments. Like everyone else i am dissapointed about the clubhouse and lack of commercial facilities at Corvera but we must keep up these payments if we want to see Corvera blossom in the longer term, if we don't we will be the 'proud owner' of a worthless concrete block on a baron landscape ! Corvera Golf still has great potential in my opinion, if we can see off these bad times then i'm sure the Clubhouse, Bar, Clubshop, Restaurant, etc will all come in time. The new Airport at Corvera really is starting to look impressive now and that should make a big impact on Corvera Golf when it opens next year. Keep faith people, the sunshine is coming !

We don't seem to receive meeting minutes or, indeed, notification of the meetings themselves - do you know who we should speak to to get ourselves recognised as owners, which we have been since July last year.

Hi Mazbaz, Anyone who would like to receive the minutes of the community meetings for their block within Corvera Golf or for the whole Corvera Golf Resort can contact Ms Ana Escribano at Housing Comunidades SL they run the communities at Corvera for Calidona. You can email clientes@housingcomunidades.com or info@housingcomunidades.com  or Telephone +34 968 193 285   Just give her your property reference number and she can either email or post the minutes of the meeting for your community to you in either Spanish or English. You will also receive notice of upcoming meetings and of course you can attend if you wish, some owners do regularly attend these meetings and vote on the issues discussed and proposed.

i was one of the debtor on the minuites list for not paying my charges,this was a shock to me as you can imagine,but after numerous phone calls and e-mails to housing, i was told that they had not picked me up on the completion list given to them from Corvera and it was only when they sent out notices for the next years charges that i appeared on the list.

i am sure this has happened to other people and thus showing outstanding balances to account,this is typical of the  complete lack of comunication and organisation of housing and Corverra, we have arranged to pay our outstanding debt when we go over in a couple of weeks as i want to pay face to face and get an explanation and not just pay via bank transfer.

you are right about the sun about to shine but hey, we are optimists and continue to be so.

I was also one of the debtors on the list and had no idea that i was due money. It took several phone calls and emails to Ana at housing before i got a breakdown of what i was due.
