Water charges

Hi All,

The last debit on my account for water was on 16th july. I thought they charged quarterly so was expecting money to be taken around 16th October, but nothing has gone through yet (electricity was taken today)
Has anyone been charged yet?

Hi Andy,

Like yourself, I pay Urbaser quarterly by direct debit, usually on 20th.  Last payment was taken in July - nothing yet this month but I expect a debit will be taken soon.

We've had our water meter removed yet again even though we have paid and a direct debit was set up.  Our bank in Spain have advised us to get in touch with our solicitors to clarify matters.

Wonder if anyone else has had the same problems.

Can anyone confirm if Urbaser has taken the direct debit due in October? Or indeed, any horror stories like Jane and Jeremy have endured.

I have two apartments, they have taken the October payment for one but not the other?  They have sent the bill for that one saying it will be taken by DD but nothing yet!

Hi all,

Can someone please post Urbaser's email address. Our solicitor set up our water connection at the end of August and we have been charged a connection fee but we have never received any postal correspondence from Urbaser. Just want to make sure they have the correct records.

Also, do they respond to English emails or am I best using Google Translater?

Hi All

They took my Direct Debit today around two weeks later than normal.

We were out for 6 weeks in the summer and the bill was 32 Euros, now that's what I call a bargain.

Had my water bill taken from bank account today later than usual but very reasonable.

They took my DD payment today, which is a month after it should have been taken.

I would hope they are just running late.

Payment was taken today, about 11 euro. We used our apartment during October half term week so I am presuming the amount taken was about right, dishwasher and washing machine was used quite often.

Yes our payment was only taken recently and also very reasonable, they must just be behind.

 Ours was 44 euro's and we live here 24/7 so not complaining! wish the leccie was as cheap

Ours taken today.  The quarterly bills have always been between  €17 and €21 for our empty penthouse.
