Is any one else having problems contacting A2Z Telecom.
I am trying to pay for a modem and arrange installation.
I have been trying for 3 working days now, the phone rings out 4 times then goes to answer machine, no one ever answers, must have rang 30 times , all times of day.
I've left 2 messages and no one ever gets back.

We tried phoning yesterday afternoon but got an answer phone. I phoned them this morning just after 9:00 uk time and got through straight away, maybe mornings are better or I just got lucky! You need to have your NIE or passport numbers to hand. We could of had the modem installed this Thursday but chose next week when we are on Condado.
Hope this helps,
Andrew

Hi Phil I was in contact with them yesterday via e-mail and managed to make all the arrangements and pay for modem installation.
Try the following:-
Almudena Clemente Soubriet
Departamento Atención al Cliente
Autovía Murcia – San Javier, Km 18
30591 Balsicas – Murcia (Spain)

Just to agree with the previous issues reported on t his post. I had the same problem trying to communicate by email, even through they had sent me an email to tell me how much the modems were. they never replied to my emails.
Eventually bit the bullet and phoned them and paid for modem with Credit card and they made the appointment on the phone straight away. You do need your NIE number on hand.
Martin.

Pleased to report that I have eventually managed to speak with someone at A2Z.
When you do manage to get through they are very helpful and our modem is being installed tommorrow afternoon.

Had my modem fitted today, having managed to speak to them only yesterday. Aparently they are working every day to get the installations done. The service is very good and fast.
I went for the Wi Fi modem which is actually fitted out of sight in the white box next to the door of the apartment. This is better for us as we don´t have to have a box on display in the apartment cluttering up the place. So far so good.

Hi Sue,
Daft question but are you plugging into the right socket? The modem only has one LAN port so they will only wire up one of the sockets, hopefully they told you wish one? Did they test it with their own laptop before they left? If so, power the modem off and on by pulling out the mains lead then try again.

Another test would be to hard wire your laptop directly into the modem.
Take out the existing cable and connect your laptop directly into the same port (there's only one)
If you've got 4 green lights showing on the modem, you should be able to connect to the internet this way
If this doesn't work, then there's a problem - probably with the modem (which is what happened to me)
If it does work, then disconnect the temporary cable again and reconnect the one you previously disconnected
Now go around the apartment connecting your laptop using the hardwire into each of the possible sockets in your apartment, and check each one to see if you can connect.
If you still can't connect, there could be a problem with the wiring between the modem and the sockets
Once you've established which socket (if any) is connected, you can either try your wifi again in that socket, or just leave your laptop hardwired in until A2Z can sort things out
Good luck
PB

A2Z fitted modem today and all working fine into one room only, they ask you which room and then wire up that room only.
I did ask them about the phone line and was told that it had to be ordered seperately and wasn't on his job sheet, so could only put in the modem line for internet.
Hope this helps, but if you expect a phone line also for internal phones, then you need to request this seperately.
Speed seems good so far.
