If you arrive after 2pm, there's a supermarket open on Sunday on the right side of the road as you first drive into the outskirts of Puerto de Mazarron, I can't remember it's name, but you can't miss it as the car park has covers for keeping the car in the shade. Geoff

The supermarket mentioned in the previous message I believe is Upper, there is also another actually in the port El Arbol... both of these open on Sunday but close at 2pm.

The last time we came over was very late on a saturday evening, and knowing that the supermarket didn't open until 10am on a sunday I packed a few essentials in our suitcase to keep us going. It's also handy to keep non perishables in your kitchen cupboard. The packet soups from the supermarket were our saviour in May!

Thanks everyone - we do have our liquid (alcohol/non alcohol) emergency supplies and some tins etc . It's more the problem of a 5 and 9 year old and filling them up with the usual food demands..milk, yougurts, pizza, ice cream etc!

We have great key holders called John & Karen from J3 and they get us whatever we want from the supermarket for our arrival and they leave the receipt and we only pay them back what's on the receipt, if you'd like their details, PM me and I'll give you their details. Geoff.
