Membership of the Pool Complex

 Hi,

         Has anybody any idea of how many people have signed up to the yearly membership for the pool complex whether they be residents or holiday owners ??

What is the going rate at the moment. Not been to San Cayetano since last August so wondered if there were any changes in pricing since then ??

Two of our guests intending to swim then eat there early last month were put off by a rather brusque and impatient manner in reception, the need to purchase bathing caps and the pool being marked off into lanes thus precluding casual swimming. They came back to the house - and had a pizza.  Wonder if membership numbers reflect that approach to potential customers ?

Strange enough we experienced the same sort of "welcome" when we were in San Cayetano last year.  We visited the pool during the last week in September when it was 34 degrees.  One day it was an open air pool and the next it was made into an indoor pool - in 34 degrees outside??  The next day we went and it was all mapped out in lanes - not very conducive to a nice relaxed and un-restricted swim?  The next day we were told (not very politely) that we had to have swimming caps and could buy them at the reception or not swim at all!!

Our reaction was to turn tail and go to the coast for a swim and lovely lunch.  Maybe a lesson in hospitality skills is needed?
