l have received e mail from my lawyer confirming that they have spoken to the developers and they have informed them that they expect the certificate of fitness for habitation to be issued tomorrow or at the beginning of next week. They have said they will send me a copy as soon as they receive it!!.

Hi everyone - cannot see how they can apply for Fitness for Habitation certiicate when obviously the place is not fit for habitation. I suppose they are relying on getting the forms in early enough with a view to putting a spurt on to finish. Pity that couldn't do this in the beginning when Viva (according to their marketing) and Grupo (with their contracts) would have been finished in December 2005/January 2006. All of a sudden they are working like the blazes to get things completed in order to get their monies.Are they in for a shock.

l spoke to Raquel at the developers  this morning to make an appointment to visit the apartment prior to signing which l have now  booked .

Raquel  confirmed that they have received the Certificate of fitness of habitation. She said they will be contacting lawyers to inform them and let them have copies. Lets wait and see!

Just received confirmation from our lawyers that they have received the Fitness for habitation certificate.They have confirmed that they will  send me a copy by fax.
