I'm not in any disagreement that CdA isn't as we all expected for those of us bought in 2007/2008 but those who thnk we are very badly off should read the EOS weekly digest:-
click on the Huff Post link at the end of this short piece- you probably wont feel so badly off then. This message was last edited by TheQuietMan on 18/02/2012.

Yes but I wonder howe close to that kind of disaster we all came? It's only with a very keen pricing structure that we now have and the allure of potential development that we seem to be surviving and starting the buck the trend with so many obvious new residents - which is great. JF

I'm not for a moment trying to underplay the disappointment and worry many purchasers have gone through- or continue to go through since the financial crash. My point has only ever been that many other developments, not just across Spain, are far far worse off than we are at CdA- which gives us something to sell or to interest holiday makers. Albeit the market's weak but slowly CdA continues to grow and develop. Paramount might be a saviour, it might not.
Crossing fingers Paramount Park comes off, is finished and is a really progressive move for us and the region. This message was last edited by TheQuietMan on 19/02/2012.

I think everyone whose apartment hasn't been up to speck and has had trouble with Polaris trying to sort it has a genuine reason to complain.
For what it's worth, I now think the rest is due to the market down turn and Polaris running out of money immediately, having bitten off far more than they could chew and having nothing in the coffers to fall back on. They thought the boom years were going to go on for ever, as did most other developers.
I don't think that any other developer would have taken CdA beyond what we now have. There's no money out there and evidence of that is the long time it's taking to get anyone interested in taking over any units at Al Kasar.
It's true this isn't a situation limited to Spain but I thought the article made interesting reading.

I've been treated rather well by PW - I got what I paid for an apartment over looking a golf course, shame about all the other things but there you go. I think PW did well to complete what we have. It could have been much, much worse.

Hey am happy with what I have also but we dont need someone pointing out that it could have been worse. Pick anywhere in europe and you will find some resort that was not completed. Enjoy the resort be happy and watch it slowly grow.

Dead right - the next 5 years are going to be amazing. I think it is really exciting to be so closely linked to the change that will happen to the region of Murcia and southern Spain generally. That's no pipe dream - better brains than ours had all this mapped out 10 years ago and it is now that the major projects are all starting to appear. Recession hit Polaris but really will not stop the major infrastructure developments.
As for CDA - the people who have taken a risk on the sports bar and now the Clover will show others the way - as it is a no brainer in terms of how successful it will be.
This summer will be awsome. Jon Faulkner
