Collection of 'Rates'

Just a note to say that the collection of payment from the Town Hall for our 'rates' was usually April but I found out yesterday from our Bank that payment was requested early March.  Is this the same for anyone else?

Has anyone noticed the increase in this years IBI, i have heard that despite some of us paying for previouse years, playing catch up in 2008, it seems that they have miscalculated and have asked us to pay more. My 2 Bed 2 Bath IBI bill this year is just over €500!! Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes,last year we had to pay back payments on what looked like our parking space for the previous years.

Its more the fact that ours were collected in April last year but they have now requested 2012 payment from our bank early March.  Just wondering if this is the case for everyone. Probably is.
