Hard Water Boiler problems

Hi,

Now that we have been using our boilers and washing machines for the last 3 years, i was wondering if anyone has had hard water problems which has caused your boiler to fail?  I think it may be only a matter of time before we start to see problems with boilers chocked up with calcium deposits.  I have been looking at various solutions and found this  http://www.staticholidaycaravans.co.uk/scale_wizard.htm#guarantee have seen some posative feedback about this product that requires no plumbing.  It will get rid of any  current scaling and protect from further deposits.  I am going to give it a try before i am faced with hefty bills for new boilers and a heating element for the washing machine.  Hope this helps and any feedback is welcome.

Certainly sunds worth a try !!

One of the biggest problems with the hot water heaters seems to have been in the rather expensive electrical circuit. Ive had to have 8 replaced during the past year

Thanks Jean, nice to hear from you.  I had to replace my circuit board last year, hope it lasts longer than the previouse one! Before buying this item i suggest that anyone who is considering it, makes sure that there is enough space around the boiler or that the main water inlet pipe is easily accessible.
