Hola everybody,

thought we'd just like to tell you about a book we've bought which you may find useful. It's called 'Going Native in Murcia' by Marcus and Debbie Jenkins. It's a good little book which just concentrates on our region and talks about everthing from the buying process to transport and home comforts.

We bought it off Amazon and think its well worth a look.

Just thought I'd share with you that after your post I went out and bought a copy of Going Native in Murcia and like you say it has loads of useful information about everthing, some of which I will need in the not to distant future and some other information I can use when we are out there, like the best places to eat and drink, I do like the look of the Spanish way of having meals, you get 2 breakfast's, both with with brandy then on to lunch for a couple of hours before having a nap this sets you up for your evening meal and bed, sounds good to me.

Dont tell me we have to have another beer  to talk about the story behind your avatar, I found a Sunderland FC one on a web site I'll email it to you as I dont know how to do it on here, (Where's Janice when you want her?)

Now about this Going Native in Murcia book, you have me all wrong  but it did cross my mine before I read it, but honestly it will be really useful when we have to have our chats about this and that as it's full of useful information about everything in the Murcia region accept football (so maybe it's not that good )

Unfortunatly we dont sign for our house until August (fingers crossed), I was interested in what you had to say about contacting the Spanish embassey regarding gaining the NIE as getting up at 04.00 does dont fill me with glee, I will give it some thought.

I am dead jealous that you can just pop over to yours for a short week end in May, but our time will come, just think by then the black cats will be a premier league team.
