Alarming

Hi,

We have recently moved into our new place, then had to down tools and come back over to the UK. We have had security grills fitted and noticed that in our home insurance policy we had to be alarmed and the alarm had to be monitored!

As we cannot get over again for a good few weeks, and to possibly save a little leg work when I do, I was wandering if anybody on the Playa golf complex had any idea which companies in the area were reputable and how much a system costs?

Look forward to receiving a bit of a helping hand from my neighbours

Hi Chris, We bought a San Jose property on Playa Golf and as part of the deal they install a monitored alarm for, nearly, free. I think the contract is initially for the first 9 months and you pay a small fee of 3€ per month.

Securitas are the alarm company.

Ask you agent (or San Jose) if this included in your purchase.

Thanks for the information I will try to do a litlle more research. We bought early (3 years ago off plan) from Orcellis and they did not have the alarm included at the time, although on the newer sales it would appear that they are include in the package.
