SECURITY !

Is anyone aware of a spate of break-ins at Condado particularly in and around the Naranjos area of the resort ?

Just slightly concerned as to whether the issue of security both in relation to our individual apartment and the resort generally needs looking at. It would be a pity but perhaps inevitable as time passes.

Any concrete information would be appreciated ???

Can you clarify, are you saying that you have been broken in to?

If yes, what garden on Naranjos do you live, did you report this to the Police, Security and ML.

From time to time I've heard of the odd bit of garden furniture going missing and rumours about washings machines although I've not had this confirmed, can you please clarify if this is just hearsay as it's a horrible thought. 

There were posts on here recently saying that some children had been seen trying doors of apartments but I don't think it was mentioned that any apartments had been broken into. I know that the security car patrols every hour but not sure how often the foot patrols do the rounds.

I think we should get this clarified or shot down in flames quickly because there is a HUGE difference between something going missing from a front garden/roof terrace, kids trying to see if doors are left open and appartments actually being "broken into".

IF it is true, I would say the incident(s) must have been reported to ML and the local police. If ML have not heard anything, then it is probably a half-a*sed rumour.

ML have all our Email addresses on file, they also have access to all our on-site letter boxes and can contact our presidents whenever they want to, so IF this is something to worry about, we should be told privately by an official body.

Before the OP jumps down my throat, I appreciate that this is an open forum and all of us are free to ask an innocent question, but if you can ask that question on here, you can Email ML directly to ask them the same question.

No offence meant. I'm just concious of the fact that most owners do not live on the resort and a rumour like this could cause unnecessary worry.

I had my washing machine nicked in November - stupid stupid me noted after the event most people on ground floor penthouses have a lock on their door on the patio.  Reported it to ML but of reflection didn't go to the police in Alhama as we will just buy another machine and not claim off the contents insurance.

Never had anything stolen (thank God) but if nobody reports these incidents to security/ML or Police we will never know how big this problem might be.
