Percheles beach is my Fave!
Nothing much there, just a nice beach, palm tress and blue seas!
My god, am I becoming one of the half full brigade!

I too like Percheles, but be aware there are no facilities there. My other fave is the other side of Mazarron which I think is Isla Plana and there several little beaches there, all fantastic and with all the usual facilities like toilets and places to wash your feet afterwards. We particularly liked the beach bar which was very reasonable. They're especially good for families as the sea is very gentle on that side.

Just actually been to another beach just as good if not better than Percheles but a little further away in the same direction. Cabo Cope at Calnegrie is just the same but with a bar and toilets in the high season. Very scenic. For both go down the motorway towards Mazzaron but keep on going right to the end. Then turn right towards Aguilas and carry on along that road, through a tunnel and at the next small traffic island turn left for Canadas De Romario. Drive along the road through the small town which is a bit like a town in a Clint Eastwood movie. As you start to leave the town the road forks and take the left fork for Percheles. Keep following the windy road through many plastic crop tents and keep the faith until the tarmac comes to an end at a barrier. Go through the barrier on a dirt track and the beach opens up in front of you with loads of parking, brilliant. You can get to Calnegrie from Percheles but the easiest way is to follow the directions as above but only up to the small traffic island after the tunnel. Then carry on towards Aguilas. At another island a few miles down the road you will be going left towards Calnegrie, take that road. 3 miles or so as you approach Calnegrie there is a large yellow sign on the right advertising the beaches of which Cabo Cope is just one. turn right here onto another dirt track and follow it until it drops down to the beach. You will see the beach well before you get to it as the scenery is pretty spectacular. It is 23 miles in total but doesn't seem like it but worth the drive for a special day at the beach. JF I don't think Cabo Cope is naturist but no doubt there are others nearby that will be.

At Perchelles, there is the main beach in front of the parking area, then a small sandy cover to the right as you look at the sea (gets good waves, but watch the rocks), and then further right another good size beach where the naturists go for the burn.
Cala Cortina near Cartegna anyone? haven't been but it's been recommended.
The best 'sand' beach i've been on was years ago at Calblanque, but without paying another visit i couldn't give exact directions
