I'm told SMD are bankrupt - yet Res Capitalia (the main company) still appears to exist.
When I had the misfortune to meet my first solicitor (after the one Andalucian Homes 'introduced' me to who got me in the pickle I ended up in) in March 2006 I was unaware that my trusting nature would result in a bill of over 40k euro for the first instance and the developers appeal. I managed (through a bank loan) to find half of this...and then discovered that these fees were significantly more than the 'normal' ones other people were being charged.
The solicitor won the first instance and the developers appeal - and when I couldn't pay the rest of the fees I asked the solicitor to claim the court costs from the two cases! He said I was 'dishonourable' etc.....now I learn that my payment of 20k euro will never be topped up by the developer...because Res Capitalia (parent company) has put SMD into administration - it is now bankrupt.
I am so so fed up with my situation I feel like ending my suffering....I have had enough...and hope that publicity will shame both the UK and Spanish Governments to do SOMETHING...I never expected to be in such a desperate position in my mid 50s.....the stress has overwhelmed me.
Write to Res Capitalia at this address - I will be sending a letter SEVILLA
