We decided at the start of this year that, our previous Spanish Lawyer had done a poor job for us to date, and that based on the positive results of Maria of Costaluz Lawyers, in winning cases against the banks, we would go along this route with her / them.
We have paid a large sum of money into their account in February for this action, and have had nothing back in return !
By this, I mean, we have had no acknowledgement of the payment yet ( paid by bank transfer ), although Maria has, in 2 emails, stated they would send confirmation from their accountants.
I also asked Maria, via email, what would the next stage be ?
I also asked if we needed to obtain Power Of Attorney for her to act on our behalf, and have still not had a reply to these questions.
Whilst I can appreciate that we are not her / their only client, surely, we are just important as the others, and the fact that we have paid a large sum of money upfront, you'd think that some form of recognition would have been given ?
If any one out there has any advice / suggestions as to what we should do now, could they please do it via this forum, or in a Private Message ?
We're seriously considering asking for our money back, and using someone else instead.
