Ministry of Culture and Tourism
Resolution 17678 of November 26, 2012 of the General
Cultural Properties by declaring well cataloged by
its cultural relevance archaeological site of Umbria
Herrada of Tollo in Jumilla (Murcia).
The Department of Fine Arts and Cultural Assets, by order of 27
April 2011, initiated proceedings for a declaration of well cataloged by their
culturally relevant for the Umbria of Tollo Herrada in Jumilla (Murcia),
published in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia number 109 of May 14
2011, and served on the City Council and stakeholders Jumilla.
According to Law 4/2007 of 16 March on Cultural Heritage
Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, have completed the formalities
mandatory public information (BORM number 248 of October 27, 2011)
so that all persons or entities concerned, during the period of 20 days
business, could make the arguments they deemed appropriate. Subsequently,
has been granted to the City hearing process and stakeholders. During
these procedures has not submitted any written statement.
Accordingly, after the instruction process and considering
what is stated in Article 22 and following of Law 4/2007, and under
the powers conferred on me by Decree of the Council of Government
Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia 145/2011, of July 8, which
down the bodies of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Resolved:
1) Declare well cataloged by its cultural relevance the site
Herrada archaeological Umbria of the Tollo in Jumilla, as description,
delimitation of the affected area and protection criteria contained in
Annexes I and II annexed to this resolution, as well as all
documentation contained in your file.
2) Any of the archaeological activities of those covered by
Article 55 of Law 4/2007 to take place in the area, whose statement
intended, must be authorized in advance by the Directorate General
as provided in Article 56 of Law 4/2007.
3) The owners of the land affected by the declaration shall
conserve, preserve and protect the property, ensuring its integrity and avoiding
destruction or deterioration, as provided in Article 8, paragraph 2
Law 4/2007.
In accordance with the provisions of article 26 of Law 4/2007, this
resolution shall be notified to the parties and to the City of Jumilla, and
published in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia.

ANNEX I
1.
Location
Reservoir located about 4 km southeast of the center of population of
Jumilla, in the northeastern foothills of the Sierra de Santa Ana, in the third
lower northern slope of a hill of white limestone breccia of 596
m is located near the Rambla de Herrada of Tollo, which receives
its name. Moreover, the road runs near Santa Ana, the
fossilizes which, in part, the route of the livestock. The surface of the environment is

Protective Criteria
The purpose of cataloging the archaeological site of Umbria
Herrada of Tollo, is to protect and preserve the existing archaeological
in that area.
In the archaeological area is not allowed any intervention except
