I take it from the lack of response to dave's question that the "new" San Jose who were to keep everyone informed has yet again fallen at the first hurdle. If things were moving in the right direction I am sure we would have heard from the company and all those pioneering their cause.
I can still feel a big "told you so" for all those who voted Yes.

I agree,it's a joke so much for keeping us all upto date.
Ok I know that the whole of Europe 'closes' in Aug but did we here any news in July? I don't think so..
Pathetic!!!

Hi Dave,
Sorry I have been busy dealing with some members requests and a July/August report will be out shortly after it is reviewed by the SARC committee. I only knew about your post when I was emailed and told about it.
All the best
Tony

Tony,
I take it from your reply that you are now accepted as the official representative of san Jose because it does appear that all communication appears to be through you and SARC, the company doesnt appear to be keeping anyone else informed.
Strange is it not that when they won the vote, I had an email in weeks. They havent been so keen to keep me updated of "developments" since. I wonder why?

"you are now accepted as the official representative of san Jose"
In addition to the entire committee.
"They havent been so keen to keep me updated of "developments" since. I wonder why?"
My guess is that you know the reason why.

Sterling,
I appreciate that Tony and Co are working hard and wish them well in their endeavours.
I voted "NO" as did many others, if more had not been swayed by san jose and their supporters then I am confident that we would all be in a better situation than the "no mans land" we are still in, nothing has changed for YEARS! san Jose have not made any progress with the build or infrastructure for more than 2 yrs now.
They are still working to the same ethics (i.e. no ethics) and I strongly believe looking around the situation in Spain (we are lucky enough to have bought somewhere else in Spain) that Jumilla will not happen.

I'm feeling a bit pedantic today (it must be the heat getting to me!) therefore I would like to point out that "Jumilla" has already happened, as the first Bronze Age settlers were here in 1,500 BC! Nowadays the population is over 25,000, which I believe includes the pueblos, and which also includes John and me.
Regarding "Residencial Santa Ana del Monte", also known as "Jumilla Golf", I have read elsewhere that things may be slowly improving in the property market and that the IVA reduction on new properties will certainly be good news for prospective buyers. I don't work in the property sector though so I am not qualified to comment. I do know that the Jumillanos I have spoken to who are buyers are keen for SADM to go ahead. I also know that the new block of apartments opposite us is going ahead and close to completion, and people are already moving in, which is a positive sign.
Tony, do you think that HdT could send everybody an update in September, once they are all back from the August holidays? I know that Spanish buyers may be relaxed about things, but it is clear that the British buyers are becoming restless!
Thanks!
Sue

Sue,
I don't think I ever disputed "Jumilla" has been there many year's, and I also agree that building is takeing place elsewhere. There are several new developments near us sold out and near to completion.
Your comments regarding building taking place in Jumilla without problem and the slightly improving scene elsewhere only confirms that San Jose are not in the same league as other companies such as Quara and TM who weathered the storm and are BUILDING again.
San Jose acted immorally and dishonestly when the market took a down turn, many other companies did not. The blame for many people being without houses and out of pocket to the tune of thousands is San Jose's alone.
Since the vote I think I have had 1 contact from San Jose themselves, as it has been said numerous times before they have had MY money for years now and the only thing that changes is the excuses.
I appreciate you live in the area and will know the local situation better than anyone, however I am still a client of San jose and deserve more.
Mark

I had an email from HdT the other day, explaining that they are still waiting for the courts decision on the water license and HdT have lodged a complaint with the Spanish government. They are also adament that the building work will start as scheduled and the courts should sit soon and the problem resolved in their favour.

Dear GJGCOOPER,
I assume from your question that you are asking about Herrada del Tollo administration process. In which case they were officialy declared out of administration in JULY 2010. So in effect HDT are now just over 1 year into the official 5 year delivery plan. San Jose came out of administration a few months later. As yet there is no sign of development works being undertaken by either HDT or San Jose. There is no up to date information on either of their websites. Nothing has changed for us purchasers.

Broph

Hi
I have been told by my lawyer that it is 2,000 euros to bring the lawsuit against the banks. Has anyone else been quoted this amount?

Hi Chrissie1
Guadalupe has quoted us 700 euro which I and a few others have paid. I must say compared to my lawyer who tried and failed to get any joy from the builders, she and her team have been fantastic. we get regular updates from their secure website with info that is relevant and any questions asked by myself are answered within a day or 2. I know I might be sticking my neck out a bit here but I think I'm starting to feel a bit positive about getting my cash back. It also seems more and more of "us" are going down the "bank" route, and if this works for us I really can't see how the Jumilla site will ever happen. I didn't think it would happen anyway after the terrible offer we recieved from hdt, in my opinion we should have had a 15-20% reduction and a new contract with a full bank guarantee in place as a minimum. Jumilla will never happen!
Regards

Hi
Thank you very much for your honest answer. I think if anyone can do this work for you Guadalupe is your best option. She has a passion for getting results and she seems to have a fire in her belly. The only thing that worries me is if the case goes to court and is not won then surely each time the case goes to court you would have to pay both the bank and the lawyer. How would this work because it could take a very long time and many times of going to court to get the answer we all so much deserve. I must admit it must be great having a lawyer who answers your questions within a couple days. I do believe that Guadalupe will do her very best to help you in any case. She was the very first person to inform us that a generic bank guarantee had been found I remember feeling excited and hopeful for the first time in years.
Keep me posted and Good Luck
Regards Chrissie
