Wolfe,
We need a bit more detail here i think.
Aifos have been in administration for a while now. I have deposit with Aifos and I was contacted by Aifos representatives about 12 months ago approximately with regard to a liquidation agreement. However, many people had been contacted about this proposal many months before this. Therefore, I would say that Aifos have been in administration for about 2-2&1/2 years. Did you say that Lawbirds started your lawsuit 2 years ago? It isn't clear that is what you mean.
The proposal was to give all creditors at our level a 45% refund spread over 6 years, but only starting 10 years from now (or then). This is the only refund that you will ever see from Aifos.
The exact function of the lawsuit is important too. Where they trying to get your deposit back? Or where they just cancelling the contract with Aifos? Apparently you need this to chase the bank for the deposit instead (under Ley 57/68).
