Hello everyone,
I've managed to get some good photos of the development, some outside and some inside (i've posted them up).
All of the internal photos are of Blocks D and A1, with the most complete examples being from Block D. The external photos are self explanatory of course.
So, to summarise, Block D1&2 are basically finished - the only thing that was missing was light switches/fittings and plug sockets (bare wires through holes are visible on some shots). Bathroom suites (excellent but a lttle crowded, I might ask the developer to remove the bidet), shower suites (compact but certainly useable), kitchen units/worktops (cheap but very satisfactory), glazing, shutters (which are very neat btw), tiling, painting, fitted wardrobes, (locked) front doors, intercom unit, utilities meter are all fitted to Block D1&2! Though there is going to have to be a huge clear up job - there is plaster, bucket fulls of dust, some rubble, some timber, occasional tiles - to get it in a state for someone to live in.
Block A1 is in a similar state, but probably even more dirty! I would say that A1 is at the same stage but without bathroom ceramics fitted (in the ones that i went in). I noticed some solar panels at the end of block A1, too.
Underground parking area doesn't have any concrete laid in it (Block D) - just the sub-base material which underlays it. Not quite sure how big a job that is - a concrete wagon can't drive into it (too low) and would be tricky to pump concrete into it (about 30-40m from entrance to back).
One thing that might excite some people (as it does me) is the kitchen/living space. This area is quite large but it is open plan (of course) but I would suggest that the kitchen could be enclosed (with party walling) and also an extra room could be created between the kitchen and the terrace. This extra room could be (i think) be large enough to house a bed or an office or simply a store/utility room, it also has a shuttered window. If things get moving soon, I will probably be asking the developer to incorporate these changes whilst they are still possible. So 2 beds could become 3!
Regards,
Faz
p.s. I have a lot more photos which i'm trying retrieve from my mobile phone (which is an even better quality than my actual camera, pity my PC isn't up to the job!). I'll put these up this week.
