New FREE Weekend football club for Kids at Condado Club

A FREE football club will start this weekend at Condado Club, Saturdays and Sundays 1000-1200. For age 6 and up. It is hoped to run this all year round. The trainer is Spanish, with reasonable English...certainly better than my Spanish. The idea is to try and get a youth team together for Condado...

Wow!  another club for hte kids at Condado - I applaud you!  well done.  It's so good to know we have great people living there who are happy to set up great things for the children.  Please don't move away!  You really are making a big difference to the resort.  thank you!

 

This one is all the work of a gent called miguel, he coaches a youth team in Totana and is very keen....we will advertise it for him and he can spread the word with the Spanish. He hopes to get a youth team up and running!!!

I think it's absolutely fantastic!  We wish Miguel lots of success and I look forward to reading all about the Condado Youth Football team.  

We had 16 at the football today!! Boys are a bit shy, 4 Condado kids came from Murcia where they live for it,

We had 2 Scottish, 2 N Irish, 2 Australians, 1 Japanese national and 9 Spanish!! We also had 2 toddlers who desperately wanted to play!!

A wonderful time was had by all. Miguel's dad coaches Real Murcia and we hope to have his expertise once a month! Miguel is absolutely fantastic, so professional...his Dad, couldnt be any better!!!

This has had a great turnout, open to all kids!!!

This weekend we hope to put in place the structure for Condado's very own U12s football team.  A representative from the football league came, last weekend, to have a look at us and we appear to have been up to scratch!  

At present, free football training is on Saturdays and Sundays 1000-1200 and we are supported greatly by the Spanish community from Totana, Murcia, Alhama de Murcia and of course, Condado.   These days and times may change soon, due to our ever increasing numbers!

All children of all abilities and all nationalities are welcome!  We look forward to seeing you soon!

 

2 months later and this is going strong, good mix of Spanish and English...hope to see you there!
