We have just completed our purchase on Naranjas 5. The likelihood is we shall move over permanently some time next year as early retirees. Apparently the rules on entitlement to healthcare are about to change - our government no longer funding healthcare for early retiree ex-pats. Am advised that Spanish authorities will require evidence of private health insurance before issuing residency permit. Have also read that Murcia has introduced a regional health insurance scheme at a cost of €65 per person per month. Does anyone know anything about this, or could anyone tell me where I might be able to find out more?

Am excited to hear we might not be the only permanent residents in N5!!! There is a wonderful facebook group called Preguntas y Mas....based in camposol and what they dont know isnt worth knowing!! The rules for Residencia and health care are constantly changing! If too young for an S1 from the UK then you will need private health care. I really would ask on Preguntas y Mas, good luck and ket us know if you need anything!!!

Hi just wondering how much you have been quoted for the community fees? We are also about to complete shortly. Might even meet up shortly and have a beer! We have been told its 160euro per month it sounds expensive Can any one please confirm what the community fees are for a 2bed apartment per quarter Thanks for you help Regards Samuelf123

I think you'll find it's €243.42 per quarter for a 2 bed.Are you also on N5?
