Are these villas part of the condado complex?

We own a villa Jana and cannot get an explanation as to how they calculate community charges.
We have been told that we are not included in the complex and therefore we must pay HUGE monthly charges.
We are anxious to speak to any other owners who have problems with millennium - levante.
Any help would be appreciated.
It took over a year after we bought our villa for them to let us know the monthly charges, even though we asked, constantly.

Ah! You asked if they are part of the complex and I answered "Yes", they may however have their own budget, like Ia Isla. This could explain why you have high service charges?

Believe me when I tell you we have been told we are not part of the complex, which is quite confusing. I just want clarification of the calculation and any explanation but am unable to get any information from milenium levante.
How long did you wait to find out how much your community charges were after you bought your property? Did you buy off plans?

I reserved in 9 years ago and completed 6 years ago next month. I had to wait about 9-12 months before I knew what the service charge was.

Sounds like Villa Jana have their own budget, I would imagine costs will be higher as there are far less of you guys to contribute. 

Villa Jana have been up around 5 years, I would have though that they would have had the service charges sorted by now?

Yes, the Villas are indeed part of the community. Simplisticly -  The Villas are two level 3 communities within the level 2 community of Naranjos 1.   Each level 2 ( of which there are 5 ) pays a % of the community budget based on the size of the level 2.  This determines the level 2 budget.  Then each level 3 community pays a % on the level 2 buget again based on it's size. The individual properties then pay a % on the level 3 budget.  On the deeds of your property you will see the quota for you community fees which is based on the buildable plot size on which your property stands  ( this is called horizontal division and is defined by the Spanish Horizontal property laws ).   So,  if for example we take a plot of size X if you built 4 properties on it ( like the penthouses ) then each pays X/4 of the quota for that plot,  in the Jardines there are 2 stories so each pay X/2.  But in the Villas there is only 1 property per plot so they pay X.  This is why the Villas pay considerably more than the apartments.    This is the quick/easy answer, can give you more detail if required.
