Where to get first BBQ Gas Bottle

We purchased a BBQ yesterday and I need a gas bottle. Can someone advise the best place to get the first one and the most convenient for refills

i tried the garage at camposol but they said you need a contract and the company is based in Cartagena -it all seems a little difficult. I was to told that hat they had used to be able to charge a deposit from the garage but no longer

Got mine from the Repsol Garage just off the motorway on the way into the Port, not the one in Mazzaron itself. You need to fill a form in and get a licence, so you are dependant on how helpful the attendant will be. Once you have that then it's just the usual refill situation as With Calor in the UK. Another way that some people try is to buy a used one from a car boot and then just swap it for a refill. Possession of a bottle seems to qualify you for the refill process.

I would be interested how you got on as we went to the Repsol garage who would not serve us unless we had a contract  so you either have to purchase a second hand one  or do the paperwork in Alhama de Murcia as the Mazarron office wouldn't serve us saying as our apartment on Condado not their area! We wished we had stuck with charcoal much easier lol

The petrol station on Camposol supplies these. We have one from them and no problems.

Have done a chase for gas bottles with friends in past..easiest way is to buy 2nd hand bottle on facebook group..Items for sale Murcia, approx 10-15 euro,  exchange it for refill at cost of 18 Euro...

Repsol in Mazarron town will sell you small cylinder otherwise you need a contract...you can buy a gun easier!,

You need a contract for an orange bottle but you can purchase a silver bottle at many garages using only your name, address and NIE number.

You can get one from the Brick building next door to the Old Barclays branch in mazzaron port - no questions and cheapest place for re filling also
