Have Sparkle lost their way?
Like last year I believe that they have once again yet far worst in 2014, they seem to chase new customers and leave established clients with a poor service.
Talking to a couple of neighbours on our garden Sparkle now require the paying client to go and colect the laundered linen, this happened to us and despite three trips to their office and no one being there as they were all out on site,( we should not be chassing them) we then sent two e mails which it took over four days for the female owner of the business to respond, the response had a certain arrogance about it and a hint of that she was doing us a favour.
The cleaning is certainly no where up to the standard that we used to receive a couple of years back, its those hard to reach areas or behind doors and behind the toilet that seem to get missed off these days.
I will not be using Sparkle Services come the autum when my years agreement is up, I think that there is certainly more competition now on CDA that provide a good reliable quaility service that I will be shopping else where.

Speak as you find and there is nothing wrong with informing other owners if you have received bad sevice because the key holder probably has the most inportant service for us owners and as got to be topnotch,trustworthy and treat our propertties as if they were there own also communication is a very big part. it is not cheap to have the apartments cleaned and they should be done to a very high standard with no excuses
Nikki and Craig Sparkle Services have delivered on all fronts for me 100% of the time

From a presonal point of view I was out at CDA last week and pre going over to Spain asked Sparkle to give the place a good clean as it hadnt been used in a long whille and Ive got to say it was top notch, everything was gleaming and the linen clean and fresh, they did an excellent job and I would 100% recommend them to anyone who asked.

Hi Giles
we have been with NIkki and Craig since 2009 and if any thing their service has got better from year to year as their business has grown. Fully insured and 100% reliable
apartment spotless on every visit, linen spotless and even puts cold beers in the fridge for us for our arrival as an extra request.
i don't understand your comment about having to pick your laundry up as all the linen is in place on arrivals so if you can expand on that it would be informative for others who read this forum

Hi
We have just started using Sparkleclean & did not have to collect our bedding when we were out early in July
We rent out too & that just would not be suitable for us.
We had an email from a lady last week who commentated on the cleanliness of our apartment.
She said
I have rented other apartments on Condado previously & the cleanliness of your apartment in comparison to the others.
We have a token meter in our apartment & the lady ran out of electricity @ midnight due to a faulty token
One of Sparkle clean`s member of staff came out immediatly to install a new token
Now that is proffesionalism @ its highest & total dedication to customer care.

In answer to your question, we phoned Sparkle, Nikki to find out when our linen would be delivered back to us as this has been with them some several days and we wanted to change the bed linen over as we had been there a week, thats when we were told that we had to collect this.
We also know that this was a similar experience to a couple of our neighbours, maybe its just our garden who knows, whats done is done and we will go else where for key holding, cleaning.

In defence of Sparkle Clean
As far as I am aware most people have two sets of bedding & towels. This means that you can do a mid week change easily. Most property owners who rent out would certainly have two sets. We have two sets @ home so would not have less in our holiday home irrispective of renting out or not.
My sister is a property manager for a number of holiday letts in Taunton & in order to collect, wash & Iron bedding & wash towels, re make the beds & lay out the towels she says she needs @ least 4 days when it is the busy season (Mid June to early September) Mid week bed linen & towel changes are not uncommon but all owners have to provide @ least two sets of each. Some however have 3 sets of each.
It might be worthwhile you concidering this as depending on how busy your new property manager is and depending on their work load to will surely have a baring on their ability to accomodate your request too

Folks
We can do nothing but praise the professional approach from both Nikki, Craig and their staff towards us since we first started using their services. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, from helping with forgotten keys late on a Saturday night, to emergency call out for dodgy plumbing, which both of them attended to try to help. They have always been accessible and nothing has been too much trouble. We have also had Craig carry out building work / renovations to our apartment. This has been carried out in a very timely and professional manner, meeting all our demands and expectations. A fanastic couple who run an excellent business - we would recommend them without hesitation to anyone.

Think you are right Giles there is more competition now and at the end of the day regardless of what others say of their experience it is you as an individual customer who feels let down and has not been provided (in your opinion) with a certain level of service. I had something like this (actually worse) with another company on CDA and I ended my contract, demanded a refund which I got and obtained support from another keyholder who so far has been great.
So if I was you and you continue to be unhappy then pay another company when your contract ends :-)

The time of year or the amount of guests should never be a factor of the sevice we receive from our key holders and Gilles is absolutely right to finish his contract, if he as not recived good value. i certainly would so when i replied to say sparkle have been great, its was not to say Gilles was wrong because i dont know what happened but i am sure Nikki will explain what went wrong and sort it out and thats why sparkle are so good. but if we have poor service off any business then they should be named and shamed and other owners should respect our option.

if you read my post again from the 5th Aug you should be able to understand that we do have two sets of bed linen, And I quote , and we wanted to chage the bed linen over, what does that tell you, yes one bed linen on the bed and one bed linen in Sparkles office wanting to swap it over.
However, even if we did not have two sets, how is this in defence of Sparkle?
Are you saying that I or others should have more bed linen to accommodate Sparkles service or lack of it in our experience, just in case they can't get around to delivering the bedding.

I dont know about their key holder services, however my dad has used them for some building work at his flat and althought the service was good, the bill was way too high. It differs from 50 to 150% quotations form others builders previously used by him.
As my dad said, it was the first and last time they used Sparkle for this kind of work... it seems only that they think lthey own the area, and can charge anything because we earn in pounds... dont know, there is no explanation when is charged 150% above the national average.
I guess for the next work we will have to go to a city nearby and search for some local contractors.
But once again, I have no information about their key holder level of service.

You are correct. I should have realised you had two sets of bed lined but I have to say that we have been more than impressed with the service not only Niki & Craig have provided but also a member of their staff.
I can only speak as I find.

I wonder if you will get as much for your money.
We pay less now & get more with Sparkle clean
