I personally don't think the road will happen,I agree it was mentioned to me also. The problem is not so much the cost of the road but that it will need a toll booth as well as it is spured off the motorway.Naturally it will need the local council to agree to take on the responsibility of the toll collection etc and it may be too close to the next toll to warrant it.We will need to wait and see.

The new road is imperative really towards this development. I have been trying to sell an off plan re-sale for a client that is desparate to sell and there is no question that the development is fantastic, but every client I take to the development, always mention the access to the development is the problem. We have to be positive that this will be another San Pedro under-pass and actually take place rather than be a Spansh mith.

During my visit last week (2 May) I was told by Eralia that there was planning permission for a bridge to be built from the exit road of La Hacienda across to the other side of the toll road. There is actually a brick wall on the opposite side from La Hacienda where the bridge will apparently end. This will then join up with the slip road down to the San Pedro toll exit. The issue apparently is that the toll road would need to either be closed off or the traffic diverted and they will not do this in the height of the summer months. When I asked my lawyer she knew nothing about this. Has anyone heard anything similar?

During my visit of the past two weeks( 9th to 28th July) I did a bit of driving around the area and noticed that when you leave the development by going under the toll road then down to the road that goes left to Benahavis and right to go to the A7 Marbella /Estapona road. Go straight across at the junction towards the new golf development just follow this road, you will come across a 2nd round about with the exit straight ahead closed off with a short new road section that just stops. If you take the 3rd exit off this roundabout then first right down a bit of a rough road you will eventually join the Ronda Road. If you turn right you can join the toll road or go straight on to San Pedro going past Fernando Mareno Furnature Building but if you turn left towards Ronda you will come across another roundabout just a short distance up the road. The 3rd exit is signposted Benahavis but only the exit is in place no road. If you look towards the west and La Hacienda you will see in the distance the unfinished road that I mentioned that is closed off from the 2nd roundabout. I beleive that the Ronda road roundabout will eventually join the unfinished road possibly by a bridge but not sure. I feel that this may be the road that every one is talking about as this will give quick access to the toll road at the San Pedro/ Ronda exit. If this is to be a bridge it will not happen over night.

We returned yesterday, and indeed the new road is underway. In fact it is a bridge over the toll road, right to the Hacienda access road. The footings are in place on both sides of the toll road and we have been told that the bridge will be completed in March ... however, you know how quickly the Spanish work, so......
The water meters are connected for each apartment and we will all have our own accounts on December 14th, so we were told by Anna Garcia.

The best person to contact is Ana Garcia, by email to let her know you are coming out. Then she will make sure the water and electricity are on etc etc. I do have her telephone number and email, but not to hand, so will post them here later today. It is a lovely place to live and I am sure you will enjoy it.

email to Carlos is carlos@moleon.com - sorry I cannot find Ana's card just now.
telephone number is 0034 952 769 207
Bear in mind that there is NO amenity lighting at the middle to upper part of the complex so walking about in the evening is impossible.

carlos don't work there anymore... i spoke to a french woman called Caroline Dimanche.
for anyone who hasn't completed yet they will let you in from 10am - 2pm and 3.45pm - 6.30pm
she was very pleasant though i have to say slightly evasive about giving out information. she said that...
there are still 50-60 properties they're selling. (carlos told me 9 months ago 30). then she said some were reserved so only 30 for sale...
she didn;'t know about the road. No lifts or bolletin electricity (whatever that is, presumably community electricity)
she said i couldn't take prospective buyers round before completion (carlos let me do this) then she said maybe.
she said cheapest 2 beds they were selling were €450k. one of the agents i spoke to said they were selling 2 beds at €365k.
we're thinking of moving out to spain as a family, but the whole say one thing and mean another attitude is off putting to say the least...
anyone with kids on site? or is there something in the contract forbidding that!
