Inspection Tour

Sorry if this has been raised before but I am coming out to TDLT for a free inspection tour in march with a view to purchasing an apartment .

Only over for 2 days what can generally be sorted in this time?, if I find a place do you have to open a bank account and instruct solicitors within these 2 days? or can this be done when I return to the UK.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Janice we did two day trip with la vida , decided to buy about 6 weeks after we got home payed are deposit and instructed lawyers ( Abad associodad ) who were recommended by la vida . We gave them poa and they did everything ,opened bank account ,water electric connections council tax nie numbers ,gave key to carol from rtpm on completion ,we didn't have to go back until we went over to by furniture . We came out with Blue Med last February for two days.  Chose the apartment and agreed a price.  We then paid the deposit when we got home.  Blue med put us in touch with a solicitor, and they set up the bank account etc.  We chose to come back for completion but didn't have to.  It was nice to get the keys in our hands though.  Definitely advise you to get a keyholder- we use Carol and Roy too, it's been great for the odd crisis as they have found us plumbers and lock smiths.  I hope you enjoy your trip out, we are out this week and have seen lots of agents and clients around.  

Thanks for the info, it has been very helpful, looking forward to the viewings I am sure I might have more questions.
