Hello everyone and thank you for reading. To say we are green behind the ears is an understatement but we have decided to dip our middle-aged toes in the warm water of Spain. The problem is every investigation we make seems to be contradicted by the next Agent or Bank Appointed Sales team we speak to. We are told not to buy south facing and then to buy south facing, don't buy middle floor and then do. We are told prices start at €49,000 and when we ask for details are sent properties starting at €60,000. What we are hoping for is a two bedroom apartment. We have no idea which phase as we are told the builder owns phase two and three and the bank phase one. Can someone please point us in the right direction?
thank you.

Hi Polly,
Im sure that if you post details of where you intend to buy that someone may have knowledge of the area and the development.
Good luck.

Thank you for the reply Hephaestus! We would like to be in Murcia as we hear nothing but good things and on a security controlled site we understand is best. We have been pointed in the direction of the Polaris Golf Resorts but are open to suggestions. We aren't concerned whether it's a new property or a selling-on from a private owner, although we don't seem to see any of those!
thanks once again.

Hi Polly,
You could do worse than to stay on the Mar Menor when you go for a look around, it's really strange staying on the strip, what with having the sea on both sides of you.

Hi Polly
we have a penthouse on condado de alhama 2nd floor and have to say its lovly very private no noise or traffic with great views accross the golf course and mountains in the distance. wouldnt consider ground floor myself. We are currently buying a bigger villa ready to retire but will miss our apartment when we sell it.
