Family Buying Property - Advice

Hi

I was hoping somebody could help me.  We are on the tip of buying a property at Sierra Golf and wanted to try and find out some info from locals. We have read the history about all the hard work the community has done here but heard last night some not so good stuff about crime, break ins, squatters etc and just wondered if anyone could advise us on this? Is what we have heard true or been true.  Is it a ghost town or has this now changed since properties have been selling again.

We just wanted some general info about what the local community is like and if a young family would fit in.  Also regarding the club house I am told this is a small wooden construction at the moment just wondered if something more permanent is planned to be built in the future.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It will be a holiday home for now and are also thinking about the future for retirement.

Hi   Sierra golf is at a new beginning.    I would advise you to look on the facebook pages as pictures and information are not always on here.

Spain has to be, in my opinion, as safe as houses - as long as you take precautions needed to survive & protect.

Fit an Alarm. Change your locks. Secure your property. And join a Neighbourhood Watch program - if possible.

I'm about to arrive in the Sierra Golf area and I will be carrying out a security and safety review of where I'm living, to an extent where anyone wanting to break-in would look elsewhere. They want easy pickin
