We have just paid our €3,000 reserve for an Albatros and we will be paying our main deposit next month when all the paper work etc has been sorted out. We will be moving over in August. We came over earlier this month and viewed lots of properties but we both fell in love with both our future home and the urbanisation. We both lived in Dubai for almost ten years in the 90's and it really reminded us of that same community spirit that Dubai used to have before it became the concrete jungle that it is now.
We can't wait to move over. At present I am a peripeticic music teacher teaching guitar and music grades up to grade 8. My wife works in a call centre and was previously in travel. I was also a professional musician for over 20 years. We will both seek some part time work over there as we will be buying our new home cash so our monthly bills will fall dramatically to what they are now.
Any advice that can be given about part time work etc would be greatly appreciated. I may start private guitar lessons at home. Would that be a goer?
