The provision of Internet via the fibre optics, which of course should have been available on Roda from the outset, will obviously offer more consistent speeds. It would also negate the need for the unsightly small antennae that spring up everywhere.
However their packages are currently a little confusing and very pricey after the first 3 months for equivalent speeds.
I am told though that those who have switched are satisfied and also that their payg package is reasonably competitive.
Teleast will now offer speeds of up to 12Mbps for 26euros plus phone etc. Plus they offer payg packages.
Movistar are offering up to 20Mbps via landline for 40 odd inc phone and calls and mobile on contract.
Despite Spain being one of the first to offer Quad systems, prices are still not that competitive in more rural areas.
