we ( 2 belgian young retirees) just bought at Calle Malaysia 15 1A.

I'm looking on internet and televsion connectivity options. Did someone find and install suitable connections?

congrats on your purchase. Regarding the to connection I've been told we just need normal tv to aerial connection and we will be linked into the community aerial. Haven't checked out the Wifi yet but will be out there next week and hope to purchase to and also check out wifi options so I'll let you know how it goes.

Sorry that should have read we hope to purchase a TV when we are out next week and will be looking to checking out the Wifi.

Our sale has completed on the property and furniture went in yesterday so really looking forward to getting out there on saturday and just relaxing.

Just been informed by Blue Med that BMN bank are no longer offering mortgages on HDA,,,, Is this true guys or are we being lied too.

All i know is they are trying another bank.

Just frustrated a mortgage will be paid off next year.

Just go to a broker yourself, PM me if you want details, the poroperties are fine for mortgages but remember that you can only get around 70% of the sales price, not including the fees, so actually 55% of the sales price

Rates we have are great, especially if you plan to pay it off starting at 1.7% on 10 year fixed rate

Just to advise for those who report that BMN are not lending on HDA.  I have just had my mortgage approved  by BMN. I approached them as I did other banks directly myself to make the application and they were OK with HDA.

I'm buying a villa through a private owner so I don't know if that makes any difference. I can't see why it would as it's still them lending on an HDA property.

You could perhaps contact them directly.  The staff and bank manager speak english and I found them to be most helpful out of all the banks I visited.
