Do NOT hire car from DICKMANNS !

Happy 2017 to all,

I hired a car from Dickmanns at Murcia airport and returned it on 19th October after paying a 950 euro deposit. They don't just get authority for the deposit, they debit your account immediately.

Despite many emails, I was always fobbed off with "It's with accounting". It has taken SANTANDER/MASTERCARD intervention to get this money back. My account was finally credited this week - after almost 3 months.

If you look online at TRUSTPILOT reviews, I am not alone. Others have suffered the same - and worse.  Dickmanns are complete ****ards and should be avoided at all cost .  

I hope this post prevents some other poor renter my experience,

This is happening to us at the moment. We hired a car from Dickmanns Alicante airport in October and they immediately took 950 euros from our bank. We returned the car on November 12th 2016 and as yet still waiting for our money to be refunded. We keep e-mailing them to be told the same thing "it's with their accountant" we have reminded our accountant" etc.... We have not received an apology for the delay or told when we will get our money back. We have contacted our bank so now hoping they can help retrieve our money.
