If anything the Spanish Courts are more relaxed than UK Courts and there is nothing to fear
If you are called to give evidence just tell the truth as you see it without getting annoyed but illiustrate all the presures you have and are suffering by the loss and time it has taken to get to court
A day or so before sit down with an A4 pad and write down your recollection of the purchase and all the pressures you have suffered due to this loss. Even calculate the extra travel cost you have incurred in trying to get your money back. Noting all the relevant dates of signing documents and paying the money. Everything will then be fresh in your mind
The discuss with your lawyer the questions you may be asked and the answers you intend to give
The only evidence you can give is on the facts and there is no benefit in blaming the Spanish legal system in their own Courts!
If you turn up and are not called to give evidence then that is a bonus. You have paid the travel costs which are more expensive than if you had a similar situation in UK , but then you did decide to buy a property in Spain
You are expecting to win and if you do so then the interest will more than compensate you for the travel cost
Good luck but do not have any fear about appearing in a Spanish Court
