Hi All
we are thinking of buying one of the penthouses, can anyone advise if permanent living there is great. We don't play golf and love nature and mostly swimming pools😊

Personally if you are looking at permanently living in Spain then the last place you should be looking at buying is a golf complex that was built with holiday makers in mind and with no real amenities ...You will probably find permanent living on these sites is not permitted due to being classed as Touristic .So have a look on a residential urbanization that offers everything you will require for full time living.

Windtalker, not sure if your info is correct as I believe there are permanent residents on Corvera.
As for amenities, Corvera town is a 2 min drive and it has everything you could need, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, doctors, banks, etc etc.

Certainy not classed as Touristic and there are plenty of permanent residents onsite with a good community spirit, I would estimate at least 50 properties
There are NO facilities onsite and the golf course is a wild nature park now and yes you have to rely on town where there is everything including bars, shops, banks and a medical centre plus 30 minutes drive into Murcia City or Cartagena, but I wouldn't describe living there as great, been there done that and prefer to be in a more built up area closer to the beaches

It is great place for relaxation and if you have a steady income. Corvera is 2 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk. You can buy everything there. They have local Fishmongers and a village market, very cheap and fresh. Life is really good, relxing and affordable. Water bills are bit high, even if you dont use the base rate is 26 euro per month. Broadband is Ok, but not superfast as Fibre optics. There are many Restaurents and bars and really friendly and warm harted people. Air is fresh and there are many cycle tracks and hill tops to clime and hike. Day Temparature goes up to 38 or even 40s in high summer and temparature goes down to 6-8C in winter night. Low RH and ideal. Given the Corvera airport has opened for Tendering it is sure that the airport will operate in next 2 years definitely, will push up the priceses by 100% in next 5 years.

Hi there,
There are definitely permanent residents on corvera golf. I've just signed up for a long term rental there and whilst I was visiting I met others who also live there full time.
In my opinion, it has a good mix of things. It's walking distance to corvera town but it's still very quiet and its very near to cartagena and murcia city too.

We want to have a look at some villas there...are the villas near the apartment blocks?
so is it very quiet there? No facilities on site? But the pools are operational? The golf course is now a naturepark? What do You mean ?
Are there security system there?

There are various layout, so depends where on the complex you are and proximity to apartments.
It is fairly quiet in relation to a haven holiday holiday, but to be honest it is part of the attraction.
The clubhouse is currently closed and no shops etc on site, but Corvera us very close by with all necessary services.
The pools are up and running and very well maintained, as are the gardens and other areas.
Naturepark is a little unkind, the course is not operational and is currently overgrown, that's all.
Yes there is 24 hr security on site who do regular patrols.

With rabbits, foxes and snakes sorry nature park is exactly what the course has become since it has been left 3-4 years untouched but it isnt just Corvera, the courses at Mosa Trajectum, and United Golf are the same and it will costs 10's of thousands of Euro to restore them
The villas and apartmemts are spread around the site, The Magnolia villas have community pools but for the other villas you need to build your own pool and you cannot use the community pools
Corvera as I said isn't a bad place, it has a lot going for it apart from the low property prices and the facilities in the town, yes pools and gardens well maintained
Yes there is 24 hour patrols that were actually partly put in place by the banks to protect their properties being stripped bit also check the situation with the ongoing bankruptcy of the original developer, which is good news for the site

This is a country resort, it is part of the attraction and you get foxes in London and yes, due to the heat we get a range of snakes lizzards etc but they are more scared of you than you should be of them

we have a budget but wants to make the best of whats available within our budget.
all midland location, but we prefer that there wont be many snakes 😁
We want somewhere where theres mix of nationality ,
would you know the age bracket of people living here?
Few years back my friend bought a place in this region, and she said all her neighbors were very old people..i wonder .
we are young family with a child and with very small dog.
for holiday home and a base in spain, but prefer with security as we will not be there all the time and a comfortable space with access to amenities.

There are a few other resorts that you should be looking at but it very much depends on budget, plus off golf courses in gated communities, closer to the beaches

Hi Brookshield,
I have recently brought a property at Corvera Golf a two bed two bath groundfloor apartment with private hedged garden. This cost me £41000, but i paid £7000 more than most apartment coz I wanted the garden for my dog Floyd,
This community is great, many age gtroups and nationalitys. One lovely lady who lives on the complex with her young daughter offered to give me spainish lessons.
Corvera town is just 5 mins away and has everything u need bars supermarkets etc. And i've not seen any snakes lol.
The Corvera airport will hopefully open soon which will be great for your investment and I have been told there are companies in the offering who would like to bid for the golf course.
I used Murcia invest to buy my property from and they were ace, sorted out a great lawyer who dealt with everything for my under prozy power of attorney, so after initailly visiting spain i did not have to go back untill the property was mine. they opened my bank account and did everything else. Jane from murcia invest was a star and the aftersale service is fab. Murcia invest hold a spare set of keys for me free of charge so if I need them to let anyone into my apartment ie deliveries or gas man etci have no worries,
