Like you Jim, I am a little stressed out with Aifos and have been for the last two years. I don't know if Tinker has bought an apartment in Cortijo but I do know that after we have actually got ownership of our properties there will be more skirmishes with Aifos. For that, we all need to be on the same side.
I think that Aifos are on the back foot at the moment and it is as much in their interest as ours to complete the urbanization because only then will some much needed funds be released to them. The most recent photographs on the Aifos website show that work is progressing quite well on all of the blocks so perhaps February next year is feasible.
People will post what they regard to be relevant and of interest and although that wummin' probably has no knowledge of, far less anything to do with Cortijo de Torreblanca, it is nice to see how far the Spanish authorities are casting their net and also how nobody is too big to be caught in it. This clampdown on corruption is very good news for us and long may it continue.
I spoke with my lawyer in Marbella this afternoon and he will try again to get Aifos to give him information about completion dates, state of planning etc. I will email Fuengirola town hall again and if that fails to get a response I'll telephone it on Friday. I might even nip over to Spain in June if all else fails and see what the state of play is. I know that other people are trying to get some positive information both from the town hall and Aifos so hopefully we'll soon have something to smile about.
