I  agree we all need to pull together,im not going to let aifos give me any,
 more crap ..
i have been looking at other aifos dev blogs ,and they all seem to have the,
same problems ,especially when it comes to completion time ,
they want you to complete before the habitation license is granted,
this is totally out of order, what i cant understand is why have they been,
allowed to get away with it for so long,
i cant even ring the estate agent i bought through in fuengirola,
 because they closed down ,
i m going out on july 2 ,and i will be calling in the planning office,
to see what they have to say .
has anybody heard any more on this extra floor which they had no planning,
 permission for?.
my apologies john  no offence intented mate .

Hi Jim

Thanks for your apologies but  they are not really necessary as I fully understand  where you are coming from and am sure you are getting just as frustrated and angry as we all are with this development.  Having bought and sold in Spain on many occasions I have never experienced the problems we are currently having with the developer .  However, I can assure you that no Town Hall will issue an Occupation Licence (Habitation Licence) until all the work both inside and outside has been completed.

With regards to the extra floor and from what I can gather from our Estate Agent they are still carrying on with works inside Blocks A and B (we are buying a Penthouse in Block B1) and that completion is scheduled for the end of this year.  In my opinion (and only my opinion) I cannot see this happening.

For your information our Estate Agent is CasaBlanca  Real Estate who is situated in Calahonda - telephone number   0034952587541.   The person dealing with our purchase is " Christine Mollet " who is Spanish but speaks excellent English.  They may be able offer you some help or advice if you explain your situation in terms of your Estate Agent closing down.

Please be assured that should here any further information or should you require the benefit of our experience of buying and selling in Spain then please get in touch with us through  this web site

Take Care

John
