Does anyone have any idea if all that area up on the hill south of the entrance road from Christian furniture roundabout to club is going to be more Costa Galera? There are a couple of children's playgrounds up there (see recently posted photos), loads of roads set out with street lamps, seats and dog's water bowls (!), even planting and irrigation, but no devloper's sign. Ot is it more of the Scandinavian apartments immediately behind Christian's?

Hi L:iz

It looks like that is going to be a park area,  there is nowhere for them to build,  it looks strange as some parts are landscaped and some are barren, to build would cause all yellow pathways  to be damaged.  It has nothing to do with Costa Galara, our complex is 99.9% finished.

Can i ask what is goiung on with Galera Park,  hardly anyone has moved in ??

Cheers

Rob

Thanks Rob. You are right, all those pavements and lamp posts will be destroyed! Weird. Re Galera Park. It is a mystery as we were told the houses had all sold (several supposedly to a Madrid basketball team). However, only about half, if that, have since had their water supply connected (the public way I can see who has completed purchase!) so I assume that either a) they had not sold or b) the buyers are holding out their final payments until the communal areas are finished/landscaped. Either of these might mean a cash flow problem for the developer: catch 22, the communal areas don't get finished. Certainly no difficult snagging is being done, only simple things a man with a paintpot or screwdriver can fix. We are also very fed up with the lack of grass around the pools (and only one of those was working last month). The houses at the back, nearest Costa Galara Country Club, were very expensive, €600,000 (on the last list!!), and I can't quite see their added value. Certainly no signs of anyone moving into those.

Hi Liz

My Duplex in Costa Galera now looks right at PH2 in Galera Park,  i had a wander around them on Sunday afternoon ( shhh ) and there very small, the pool area will be tiny,  i have lost my straight ahead view of the Sea from the bedroom terrace, now have to look left a bit or go to roof *LOL*

I also had a walk around your development, your right the grass around pool is shocking and over grown,  one thing i have to say about Costa Galera the gardens, pools etc are kept very well.

Im gutted they never built the Hotel as in plans,  now i have the Barran lands to look at and dread coming over to find more apts going up in front of me...

No builders do much snagging,  i had serkious leaks but have to say developer sorted everything out,  even had terraces removed and relaid,  ceileings fixed, walls repainted and no a penny to pay out.

On another note did you see the Trevor Mcdonald program about Spain,  my eys nearly popped out when Costa Galera was filmed,  worrying times in Spain, looks like it will be a long term investment, my apt is selling for way  below 2004 Saes office price... I was advised mine is worth £400,000 but i'd get offers of £285,000, very scary...

£600,000 for those town houses is crazy....i remmber they were about £450,000 ....

The PH2 apartments were selling for £350,000 - 2 bed 2 bath...

I hope the shops get rented out soon,  i agree be nice to walk down for bread/milk/chickens etc etc

So Liz do you live there ??

Regards

Rob
