Another bit of daftness from Sunny Spain

    Does anyone have any idea when phase 1 wiil be completed.

   I have been in contact from CAM bank concerning the remaining Mortgage would anyone recommend CAM or is there a viable alternative,

We too are buying on Phase I.   I spoke to Polaris recently and asked if I should be booking my holidays to go out to complete in the next couple of months and they declined to commit so, despite being told by a member of the Mar Menor staff when we were out in January that Phase I would be ready in May, nothing has happened.   Re CAM bank - we moved our acount from Mojacor to Sucina in the Cajamurcia bank and they told us, in perfect English, to find out what the CAM was going to charge overall and then go to them for a quote because they may be able to better the overall cost.   I'm not saying I will definely go with the Cajamurcia Bank, but I will certainly compare the quotes.

Cajamurcia were very competetive for the type of mortgage we wanted, as with most products, shop around, there are many different types of mortgages and therefore rates, depending on the terms you require.

We're also buying in Phase 1 (Jengibre 4)............I've tried to get approximate completion dates from Polaris, without success.

I then tried Parador after sales & the solicitor to see if they had better luck.  About a week ago their 'guestimate' was completion in the autumn, so it looks as if we will all have to wait a bit longer for our place in the sun!!

Maybe we'll all meet one day when the waiting is over.........?
