Thanks Mike6 and Blighty for your replies. Don't worry we're not that daft to believe everything that comes out of PP. We e-mailed completions dept. of PP on 22/5/07 and asked for progress on completion and what they were doing to expedite matters on clients behalf? This was the reply. "After speaking to the developers, they have advised us that they are waiting for the first occupation licence to be issued by the town hall. After this is received, clients should be able to start signing for the title deeds. Here from the completions dept. we are unable to expedite matters. This is in the hands of the town hall now. However, we are in touch with the developers almost daily and they are obviously aware that clients wish to complete as soon as possible."
As well as telephoning PP customer services, we e-mailed them as well with the same questions as above. A reply came back to-day. In the main it was similar to Blighty's.
We e-mailed PP customer services back and copied them in on the e-mail we had received from completions dept. We also told them the transformer was in place and had been for 2 months. We also told them what Rachel Avellano had verbally told us on 21/5/07. Finally we asked them if each of the PP depts. could agree on their various stories and then get back to us asap. with the correct story. We await that reply with interest.
I would suggest it may well be worth bombarding PP as regularly as possible asking for updates from all those of us who are PP clients. Maybe, just maybe, they may start to work for us.
