Hi Pat / Miriam!
Yes it will be lovely - my agent spoke to Elena yesterday and was told licence is expected Dec/Jan and then they will start building. Elena has said that our villa is due Sep 07.
Let's all cross our fingers and toes!
What have you purchased? Ours is a Sofia.

Our Agent spoke with PEINSA on Friday and they have confirmed delay in build resulting in completion date now as March 2008....
On a positive note, he said the demand on LTR was good and a price increase was imminent.

No point in price increase if house not even built for about 2 years or more. Unfortunately, due to ill health we were hoping we would not have to wait years to reap any reward.
My solicitor has said still Sep 07 - Dec 07 so no-one seems to know completion dates really.

Hi Everyone,
We visited the Property Centre today where we purchased through. They said the "plan parcial" (not sure if I have spelt it correctly) has already been approved, otherwise they coud not have built the show villas. The lady who works in there has purchased on Sucina, she said exactly the same thing happened there, with there not being enough green areas, so they had to amend the plans. They said all that is happening now is the fine tuning before the final stamp and there is no problem at all. They also said the prices will rise quite a bit once they get that stamp and building starts. I hope this helps with any worries.

Hi Andy,
I think Tracy is going out there very soon, we will see what information she has about the show homes when she returns.

Hi All
We have just returned from visiting La Tercia Real. When we arrived on Saturday our bank guarantee was there waiting for us. We were extremely happy and relieved that we had got this. We did quickly look at the Miriam show house and although not finished, we were thrilled with the floor tiles, bathroom tiles and the very large solarium. The site office was very busy with one couple signing and I think at least 2 other couples looking very interested,so I thought this looked positive.
We had a meeting on Monday morning at Peinsa head office in San Javier and just to confirm what has already been put the hold up is with regards to the green areas and they are expecting to hear something from in January. We are over again on 24th January and have said we can meet up again for an update.
My mistake, we were informed in July by our solicitors that the licence hadn't yet been received by Peinsa and she was chasing this up. I obvioulsy missed this in the correspondence so we are pleased to say our solicitors are on the ball.
Our agent has been with us over the weekend and at the meeting with Peinsa and couldn't have been more helpful and I know they want this sorting just as much as we do.
Now we have been out and had the meeting and visited the site we are not at all concerned, we are just going to wait. Peinsa did offer us all our money back but we didn't want that as we love the area, the villa and the price!!!.
I hope this gives you all peace of mind that hopefully they will receive all the paperwork in January/February and start building.

Hi All
Just got back after new year in spain - we visited site on 28th Dec - work was continuing quite well - show houses will be complete at end of Jan/Feb and approval for main work is imminent as principle is now agreed (or so I was told). Peinsa now have a full site set up and were working on infrastructure elements whilst we were there.
Regards
Ken

Will be a relief when some pics actually show any progress at all! Not even laid out roads or anything. I hope when we go in March they have this licence approved as I think I will explode.

Its hard to see but the circular road (road around main communal area) is at reduced level all the way round (ie ready to receive road make up) and the main entrance road is also at reduced level - still painfully slow though

If you go onto the forum for another Peinsa site - Calas del Pinar in Almeria - you will understand why La Tierca is behind ! They have had all same problems with licences and timings and still have. Think we have to brace ourselves for a long haul here to be honest.
