I am pleased to announce that due to pressure put on the management of Interlaken by MLH that Cardiff is now back in charge of snagging and fault rectification.

At least that is one positive move forward. Lets hope that his continued tenacity in ensuring what should be done is done that everyone can feel a little more comfort !

I look forward to continuing to provide more encouraging news.

Hi

I have just returned from Casares. I met Cardiff who told me that he has now been moved over to the "new builds"

Miguel, who is very helpful,  is handling snagging on handed over properties however there are certain items he doesnt deal with though he will point you in the right direction.

Its still a rather long drawn out process to get things done but they are getting there slowly !!!

Hi

Spoke with Tracy (CDS) today who advised me verbally regarding her e-mail response to me previously (see below).

 "The extra layer still exists to assist, but the management of it operates in a different way, with the focus being less on two entities working on it report by report, with more energy spent harmonising the various elements of Interlaken , Arcasa, CVM and MLH so they act in the most synergetic way to protect the interests of the purchaser."

She asserts that what this actually actually means is that Cardiff is doing the pre-completion snagging to blocks 16 - 27 and Miguel Angel is doing the post-completion snagging.

Not sure what they have told you means in practice but the MLH website certainly says there is a change with Cardiff only being involved in post snagging rectification rather than him also being involved in the actual snagging and then helping to rectify problems. Would be interested in how others are finding the experience? How many mistakes and problems are purchasers having to point out following their snagging meeting and how well and quickly are they being rectified.
